Join Salem Summit Company and our friends at Oregon Wild for a night of conservation conversation and learn how you can be an advocate for Oregon’s wildlands, wildlife, and waters. We will also be raffling off two Patagonia Black Hole 30L Packs in support of Oregon Wild, courtesy of Patagonia.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. In honor of this monumental legislation, we’ll be talking about how Wild and Scenic Rivers are designated, the status of the proposed State Scenic Waterway designation of the Nehalem River on the coast range, and what Oregon Wild is doing to protect clean water and the wildlands and wildlife that depend on them.
Founded in 1974, Oregon Wild is a statewide environmental conservation nonprofit that works to protect and restore our wildlands, wildlife, and waters for future generations. For more information, visit www.oregonwild.org
As always, this is a free event and all are welcome!
