Last weekend’s hike at Cascade Head for the Trail Seekers event proved to be one of the best days of hiking so far this spring. Warm sunlight and rolling banks of clouds were typical of a nice day on the coast and we were refreshed by gusts of wind sweeping in off the ocean. On its worst day Cascade Head would still be beautiful, though possibly a little wet and minus a few panoramas. This was not its worst day. We had beautiful vistas south along the coast line and enjoyed the Oregon Sun and blooming wildflowers. Enjoy the slideshow below, which depicts some of the views that await you at Cascade Head!
